Who would have thought? but it is Just under 7 miles long (about 10 km). A beautiful sweeping beach worth a walk along its length, mind you that would be a 20 km walk.
The beach has several entry points along its length with varying amenities and playgrounds for kids. This is a great beach not far from Hobart with lots of options.
The beach sometimes has small surf with the possibility of a larger break at the west end. Shops at the west end.
